These BEAUTIFUL twin newborn sisters came to my Chicago newborn studio recently…Miss Adelyn and Miss Emma were just as adorable as they look here! I am in love with their names, too! And, they brought their big brother, who was so proud and helpful, too! Gosh, I love my job as a newborn photographer in Chicago. Plus, I love when families trust in me to capture these moments for them!
I have actually been fortunate enough to have photographed quite a few sets of twins, which I love! One thing that moms always worry about when booking is the unknown of the due date. Especially when expecting twins, Moms are apprehensive about booking a date since twins seem to come before their due dates. This is why I always have flexibility in my calendar to accommodate my babies! Babies come when they want…not when we plan them 🙂 Because of this, I will book your appointment around 2 weeks from your due date. I like to photograph newborns within the first 1-3 weeks of life. If baby (or babies) come before or after their due date, we will always have room to move around your appointment.
Here were some of my favorite pictures from this newborn twin session. It was very hard to choose, because of all the cuteness!! Have fun scrolling!
Here, big brother holds on tightly to his fraternal twin sisters. He is truly going to be a great big brother to these sweet babies! Adjusting to siblings can be tough, and this guy is adjusting to two new babies in his house. He seems to be doing great, especially since he knows he has a big job ahead of him. He was so proud to be the big brother!
Although these girls are not identical, they were identically sleeping and perfect at their photo session! This family could not be any cuter! I loved the color combination that Mom chose for the family. Neutral, and classic, with the girls in white, and the boys in navy. And, since my studio is all neutrals/rustic, the colors fit perfect with everything I planned for their session!
Gorgeous baby girls are snuggled up safe in Mom’s arms! Both babies loved being swaddled at their session! This isn’t Mom’s first time being a Mom, but juggling twins isn’t easy. This mama made it look like a piece of cake! There is always something just so priceless with a black and white photo, as well. I always give my clients the option of the color option, or black and white. Then, it becomes their choice which option they choose to present in their home.
This pose is always one of my favorites with twins! These tiny babies looked so sweet in this pose! They definitely loved being close to each other, and nice and warm! This pose is always so classic, and one that gets the most attention when I post! Something about a tiny little face sticking out of a warm blanket is so sweet! But then you put two sweet baby faces under that blanket, and magic happens! Those chubby little cheeks, with the pretty headbands, and you get a peek at their tiny fingers…perfection!
It is not always easy getting two babies in one wrap-that’s a lot of legs and arms to fit in there! But, these adorable girls made it easy! Like I mentioned, they definitely preferred being nice and close to each other, so posing was easy. I loved the natural tones here with their skin coloring. I also love all the whites/neutrals with the wrap, the wrap underneath, and the blanket on the bottom. This color combination always just seems so timeless.
Seriously, there is nothing sweeter than two babies holding each other like they are here! I was loving the pinks/purples with this session, because these babies literally looked good in every color offered at my studio. I had so much fun with this beautiful family!
