Chicago Newborn Session
World, meet sweet Francesca! What a gorgeous little baby! Francesca and her parents came to my studio for a Chicago newborn session last week, and I couldn’t be happier! Here, this beautiful, sweet little girl was just perfect at her session! I hope you enjoy this adorable family as much as I did!
Here, the proud Mom and Dad hold on to their perfect little girl! When they arrived at the studio, I started with Francesca all wrapped up, nice and cozy, so she would sleep. Also, I like the look of a tight wrap on a newborn, especially for the photos that Mom and Dad are holding her. And, with their coordinating outfits, and I had the perfect headband for some classic family poses.
Now, I am not sure what I love more with this photo-the coloring, or her tiny hands holding her face. Either way, she is a doll baby!
Since she was so sound asleep and perfect, we had to change the colors. I like to give a variety of props, wraps, and color choices to my clients. This way, once they receive their edited photos, they can print, display, hang, however they choose in their home. And, I cater these colors to their personal style!
Oh, this just makes me smile! I was capturing some images with my macro lens, and Francesca had different plans with that little mouth! It looks like she’s sticking her tongue out on purpose, while smiling at me! I love this image in black and white, as well!
Now, I love a good baby smile. Sleeping or not, when you capture a smile, it warms the heart! At my Chicago newborn sessions, I am not always so lucky to capture a smile, but this one is a winner!
And, since sweet baby girl was born in the spring, we had to incorporate some soft flowers into her newborn photos. This headband is one that can be used from my studio at any newborn session. And, it went along well with the flower theme in this photo.
Here, I love the soft green look on Francesca. I love mint green on babies, especially with her skin tones. We went super soft with the textures in this photo. It truly makes her look so comfortable, sleeping at my studio!
To end, we went with the wood box, with the gorgeous blankets and flowers, while going back to that pretty flower headband. I love all the textures in this photo, making Francesca comfortable, while looking as adorable as ever!
