As a Chicago family photographer, I am honored to have so many gorgeous families that trust in me to capture their family memories in a family photo shoot. Now, this past year was the strangest year for all of us. Fortunately, I was still able to capture these memories outdoors for my client families. Here, you will see some of the several families I photographed. Now, I couldn’t share all the photos or all the families with you. But, you will get a glimpse into a session with me. And, see some of the gorgeous fall colors we had this past year, as well!

So,I love capturing moments, not always a posed photo. This is a great example of kids having fun at their family photo shoot with me!

And, many times, my clients aren’t looking directly at the camera, but in the moment. And, it turns out so adorable and precious and innocent!

Now, I love squishy family hugs, like this. Everyone just showing some smiles, in the moment, together as a family.

Also, at these family sessions, I focus on family photos, but also take photos of each child solo, as well as siblings together.

Now, of course, every family wants those posed, smiling, looking at the camera photos. And, I deliver those, as well!  Here, this family of 6 shows how easy it can be, even with a large family!

And, another adorable family of 6, make it look so easy! But, it really CAN be that easy.

Now, everyone needs a little smooch at their family photo shoot!

 

Now, as a Chicago family photographer, I just hope for good weather! It doesn’t need to be full sun, but not raining is always nice 🙂 And, at my locations that I use with my families, we have some great scenery to choose from!
